1 - PREPARATION

Any accumulation of fluid will require aspiration by a qualified medical practitioner. Before the CauliCure™ RESTORE (BLACK) system can be used effectively, the ear must be clear of any fluid accumulation to avoid pain or permanent cartilage damage.

ICE

Immediate treatment involves icing to reduce pain and decrease swelling.

FLUID REMOVAL

Any accumulation of fluid will require aspiration by a qualified medical practitioner. Before the CauliCure™ RESTORE (BLACK) system can be used effectively, the ear must be clear of any fluid accumulation to avoid pain or permanent cartilage damage.

CLEAN WITH ALCOHOL

The CauliCure™ RESTORE compression disks and the ear must be cleaned WITH ALCOHOL prior to ALL applications. Make sure to minimize excessive rubbing to the injured area during this step. This process is very important for reducing the risk of infection and/or damage to the ear.

SIZING & PLACEMENT

Choose the size that fits best for the shape of the ear tissue being treated. Place the first compression disk on the back of the ear and the second on the front.

2 APPLICATION

FOR BEST RESULTS:

Keep the disks and area of injury clean at all times. After touching the disks or ear tissue, clean immediately with alcohol and re-apply.

The appliance must be worn at all times, and can take 4 to 10 days for proper adherence of the skin to the auricular cartilage.

If a buildup of fluid is present, it must be aspirated prior to the continued use of the CauliCure RESTORE (BLACK)™ system.

During sleep, it is a requirement to use the provided headgear to hold the compression disks in place. Failure to do so results in a poor outcome and the potential for additional symptoms.

PROPER CARE AND USE

Before using the active compression system, clean both the ear and discs with isopropyl alcohol, as this will reduce the risk of infection. Inspect your injured ear and determine it is free from significant pain, bruising or open wounds.

Apply the size that fits best where compression is needed. The sizes are interchangeable, as ear size and shape vary greatly. Therefore, it is possible to use a large disc on the back of the ear and a small on front.

Once the compression is in place, position your headgear to ensure a proper and secure fit. If you are unsure about how to fit your headgear properly, please refer to your instructions

CAUTION

The CauliCure™ system is not a toy and can be extremely dangerous in the wrong hands. Always take care when the device is in use or stored where children are present.
